What You’ll Receive:

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading structured, age-appropriate football sessions for children aged 5-14, using our curriculum and coaching framework.
  • Help players to develop key technical, tactical, and teamwork skills.
  • Create a fun and inclusive environment that builds confidence and passion for football.
  • Motivating and inspiring young children to reach their full potential.
  • Show the ability to safely manage disruptive behavioural personalities and dis-regulated behaviour patterns.
  • Providing feedback and encouragement to players and parents.
  • Ensure sessions are delivered safely and align with safeguarding policies.
  • Represent the organisation positively and contribute to its growth and reputation in the community.

The Essentials:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience coaching children in a football or sports environment.
  • A minimum of Introduction in Coaching Football (old FA Level 1) or equivalent in another sport.
  • Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and engaging personality with great communication skills.
  • Passion for developing young players and making football enjoyable for all.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • First Aid & Safeguarding qualifications.
  • Valid Basic DBS certificate.

The Desirables:

  • UEFA C Licence or above / Level 2 qualification in another sport (or working towards).
  • Access to transport to and from places of work.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Previous experience as a Lead Coach within a similar football or sports setting.
