About the Role

Due to securing a long term project, we are looking for a girls football coach to deliver sessions at our girls only football sessions and within our network of schools. As a Girls football coach, you will be the lead coach delivering professional, fun and engaging football sessions for girls at our popular football programmes and schools in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and North Bristol.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver at our girls only football sessions and schools.
  • Deliver a variety of sessions to children aged 2-12 at our football programmes, holiday camps, 1-2-1 or technical group sessions, and birthday parties.
  • Display good practice through planning sessions using our curriculum as a template to build good quality sessions.
  • Build relationships with partners such as football clubs and schools to identify areas that the business can support.
  • Manage and develop staff during football sessions, football camps and school sports sessions.
  • Increase community engagement through events such as presentation days, fairs/fete’s, tournaments, PTA events, school events, charity events, fundraising events.

What is the schedule?

  • Part time, 6-10 hours per week, Monday – Saturday morning.
  • Opportunity to deliver more sessions in line with business growth from 2025.

Can you apply?

Essential

  • Worked or working within girls football.
  • Introduction to Coaching Football/FA Level 1 (or working towards).
  • Safeguarding and First Aid Qualification.
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence, with access to a car/van for transport.
  • Experience delivering sessions in schools.
  • Confident and outgoing personality when coaching children.
  • Professional mindset and attitude.

Desirable

  • UEFA C Licence (or working towards).
  • Additional 1st4sport or UKCC coaching qualifications.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
  • Previous experience as a Lead Coach within a football programme.
